About Scott

MIIS Headshot

I’m a Generation X dad and erstwhile humanitarian aid worker.  I served in the Peace Corps in Niger from 97-01, then worked as a Peace Corps recruiter out of San Francisco for 4 years, while getting my MA in International Relations at SFSU.  I then completed my MPA at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) in 2007.  I spent about 8 years working with international NGO’s in various capacities until fall 2015, when I became a Career and Academic Advisor for MIIS. Souley was the name my villagers gave me when I lived in Niger.
